• Gamma Omicron Chapter awards two scholarships annually at the Fall Reunion to Active Members who qualify.



    Martha Banfield Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was originally funded by the late Norman Banfield, '50, in honor of his wife.  All applicants must be full time students in good standing with the university and chapter; and must have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and academic performance.  Students should apply if they are entering their sophomore, junior, senior, or fifth year with a GPA during the academic year of 3.0 or higher, or greater than the active chapter average, which ever is higher.  The applicant must also be a past or present officer or committee chairman. 


    Norm was a past President of the organization, recipient of many awards and gave immense time and money to the Gamma Omicron Alumni Association.

    William Sutherin Scholarship

    This scholarship is awarded to any junior or senior in good standing with the university and the chapter.  Candidates will be judged based on their academics, philanthopy efforts, and university service.

    Bill was a past President and Treasurer of the organization, recipient of many awards and gave untiringly to the Gamma Omicron Alumni Association.
